The Dunholme News is a monthly magazine distributed free to every household in the village. It is run by a volunteer
committee of a chairperson, treasurer and editor. There is also an army of distributors who's job it is to deliver the
magazine each month. The magazine carries paid advertising (but not on this web site). If you wish to advertise

The entries and articles
placed in the Dunholme News are not necessarily the views of the Editor or the Committee, and are placed by the People
of the Village for the People of the Village. Please send all articles and letters as early as possible and no later than the
15th of the Month for insertion in the following Months Newsletter.

E mail is the easiest format to insert but typed or printed copies can be scanned for inclusion. The Editor reserves
the right to edit or refuse the article to be published if the material is unsuitable for this type of publication.
ENTRIES FOR THE DUNHOLME NEWS
Please may I remind all those that send in items
for inclusion in the Dunholme News that it must contain the senders name and contact telephone number. This is in case of
any queries about your entry by the editor. Should their be no name and number then your article may not be included.
May I also ask all those that send in attached files to give the file name an indication of the organisation
who it is from instead of just something like "august newsletter", as it can be confusing on who is sending it.

Could you join the team?
Perhaps
few people are aware that the Dunholme News comes to you each month by the efforts of a very small team. John Ritchie took
over the Editorship at short notice for the second time last year,I have been in charge of adverts and finances for much of
the last 14 years, and Sue and Graham Rawson collect from the printers and bundle up the copies. They then charge around the
village to the numerous deliverers to make sure that everyone gets their copy in good time.
Sometimes
I wonder what would become of the News if one member of the team became unavailable. It would be reassuring to know that,
somewhere out there in the village, there are potential volunteers who would like to back up the current team...or even be
happy to take on one of the roles in the near future. If that person is you, then do please get in touch. We are all on the
end of a phone line or can be contacted by e-mail.
